About the Author
Rick L. Cowan is the teaching pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He is married to Rebekah and together they have six children. He has authored three books in the Church Matters series.
Each chapter features reflection questions geared to the prospective elder and other helpful resources in the margins.
This study is ideal to work through individually, one-on-one or as a group.
Reflection Questions are intended to lead the prospective elder to self-examination as he considers his calling to shepherd God’s people.
Helpful Appendices focus on an elder’s priorities of prayer and preaching.
